Grants of up to $2,500 to West Virginia nonprofit organizations in eligible counties to meet the critical needs of communities impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Funding is intended to support unforeseen expenses resulting from the pandemic in the area of human services, with priority given to emergency food, shelter, and other basic needs of the most vulnerable members of the community. Funds must serve the residents of Harrison, Marion, Monongalia, Preston, and Taylor Counties.
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Directors of Your Community Foundation of North Central West Virgina (YCF) has established the YCF Emergency Impact Fund.
Requests will be accepted for support for human services agencies having to adapt their service delivery methods to meet their clients' needs (e.g. use of video rather than in-person client visits).
The short-term goal of the Emergency Impact Fund is to provide a rapid response that delivers financial resources to address immediate needs.
